Maiden Blog

Welcome to our blog!  We are very excited about this new extension of our business.  The vision for this blog is that it will be a place to share events, ideas, recipes and information.  For those of you who don't know us; a little background.

We, Amanda and Al, are the happily married owners and creative force behind California Catering Company.  With a long background in human resources, event planning, and eating...I, (Amanda) embarked on the journey which was culinary school and then the formation of our catering business.  With Al's background in logistics and planning (and eating), we make a true team of chef and planner....and have been having fun all along the way.  Over the years we have had the pleasure of working on countless weddings, anniversaries, open houses, baby showers, luaus, BBQs, holiday dinners, retirement parties, memorial celebrations, you name it; making us grateful to have shared with our clients some of the most special days of their lives.

Specializing in creating vibrate flavors with fresh fare to excite and please the palate, we are continuously developing and adding to our wide array of offerings to compliment any event.  From weddings to teas, brunches to box lunches, our menus have something for everyone.  And of course our signature, personal attention.  From tastings at our kitchen and customizing your menu, to waving goodbye at the end of the night.

On a personal note, as lovers of anything to do with food or a great party, we are especially fond of farmers markets, wine and cheese, family dining, picnics and entertaining.  On a constant quest for new flavors while keeping things simple and clean; that's our style.

We look forward to keeping in touch through the blog and hearing from all of you as well!  Cheers!!

Can I make a suggestion? I think youve got something good here. But what if you added a couple links to a page that backs up what youre saying? Or maybe you could give us something to look at, something that would connect what youre saying to something tangible? Just a suggestion.
